one of my new favorites - the world building is INCREDIBLE and you fall in love so easily with the main characters。 bryce is a relatable heroine that will have you on her team rooting for her heart and her motivation; hunt is a dream and their plot is everything you could ever want - enemies to lovers， slow burn， grumpy/sunshine， burn the world for the other， etc。 potentially the craziest final 300 pages and also the slowest slow burn EVER， but SUCH a fun read and had me not wanting to put it do one of my new favorites - the world building is INCREDIBLE and you fall in love so easily with the main characters。 bryce is a relatable heroine that will have you on her team rooting for her heart and her motivation; hunt is a dream and their plot is everything you could ever want - enemies to lovers， slow burn， grumpy/sunshine， burn the world for the other， etc。 potentially the craziest final 300 pages and also the slowest slow burn EVER， but SUCH a fun read and had me not wanting to put it down。 already moving on to the next…SJM never disappoints。 。。。more

I love the characters and I’m invested in the story， but once again， SJM drags the story out too long。 There’s a point in this book when even the characters are bored！ SJM needs to figure out how to tell a story in less than 300 pages。 At this point I’m wondering if she’s going for some epic page count to put in her resume。 This book is 800 pages long and I think it would still be an amazing story if she cut out the middle 200 pages。
